Terms of Service — Jay Cee Software

Last updated: 4 November 2026

These are the terms for the apps and games Jay Cee Software publishes on Google Play. They are short because the apps are simple: there are no accounts, no subscriptions and no content you upload. If an app you installed is not listed in our privacy policy, it is not ours and these terms do not apply to it.

Who we are

Jay Cee Software is a one-person developer. The developer’s legal name and address are shown on each app’s Google Play listing, as the law requires. Contact: jayceesoftware.studio@gmail.com.

What you get

When you install one of our apps you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on your Android devices for as long as it is available. The app, its code, art, text and sounds remain ours. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify or redistribute the app, or remove its ads or purchase checks by technical means.

Free editions with ads

A free edition shows advertisements, served by Google AdMob, as described in the privacy policy. Ads may change or stop at any time. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your advertising choices and lets you change them in its settings.

A paid edition is sold once, through Google Play, at the price shown on its listing. The purchase, payment, taxes and receipt are handled by Google under Google Play’s terms. Refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy; if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you also have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, which you exercise through Google Play. A paid edition is the same game as the free one without the ads; it does not include anything you cannot reach in the free edition.

Your saves

Progress is stored on your device only. We cannot see it, restore it or move it to another device. Uninstalling the app deletes it. An update may change how the game plays; we try to keep existing saves working, and say so in the release notes when we cannot.

Updates and availability

We may update, change or discontinue an app at any time. Google Play may install updates automatically according to your device settings. We do not promise that an app will stay available, run on every device, or keep every feature.

No warranty, and limits on liability

Our apps are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that an app will be free of errors or interruptions, and we are not liable for loss or damage arising from its use, including lost progress. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new version is published here with the date above changed before it applies. Continuing to use an app after that date means the new terms apply to you.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the developer is resident, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you live. If anything in these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
